Bars

We’re not going to tell you to go to Dirty 6 or Rainey Street (Austin’s equivalents to Bourbon Street). Here are the places you should go to instead - most are dog-friendly!

Workhorse

This was our neighborhood bar in North Loop. Great vibes and cheap draft beer. They also have some bites like burgers and sweet potato fries. Unfortunately, it’s only open until midnight.

They have a couple of parking spots in front.

Yard Bar

Ollie’s favorite! It’s half dog park, half outdoor bar. Mingle with adorable pooches with a drink in your hand! You don’t even need to have a pup to enter.

They have ample parking.

Easy tiger

Amazing beer selection, coffee, and baked goods. You can either sit inside or sit outside in their a lovely outdoor setting. They even have ping pong!

The Linc location has ample parking.

Whisler’s

One of the finest cocktail bars in town and a great option on the East side. Alex used to play with a band here every Wednesday. Order an old-fashioned and do some people watching while listening to live music.

Street parking is available, but it can get packed. Better to go on an off-night.
