Coffee Shops

There’s an abundance of coffee shops in Austin. Some are hit or miss, but we’ve put in the hard hours to find the best for you. You might need it before the farewell feast!

Cherrywood Coffee

You’ll find us here on Monday evening. You can get beer or coffee here and they also have a full menu if you’re hungry though we wouldn’t recommend the desserts. Every now and then they have live music in their backyard.

Cosmic coffee

This is a cool spot in south Austin. Enormous yard with lots of seating and a couple of food trucks. Pro tip: Get the frozen boozy coffee. It has tequila, espresso, dark chocolate, and mole spices.

Houndstooth Coffee

Houndstooth is the coffee shop for the coffee aficionado. Select which kind of bean you want and what method you’d prefer. The Japanese iced coffee is unique! They have multiple locations around town and the folks at the downtown location were particularly kind to Sheila when she needed help a few years ago.
